Office 365 Support Engineer

Job Summary

The core mission of an Office 365 (O365) Support Engineer is to create new cloud product offerings and to manage customers projects. This is a full time job reporting in to the Service Lead.

Responsibilities and Duties

Office 365 (O365) engineers are expected to respond to customer requests promptly, follow-up regularly, support O365 migrations, resolve Active Directory migration issues, resolve Fortinet firewall issues, proactively resolve problems, document and improve repetitive tasks, and implement projects to reduce complexity and improve operations. O365 engineers configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems; provide technical assistance and training to users; write technical BLOG postings; and update Knowledge base and Standard Operating Procedures in IT Glue. Adherence to the company’s core values is required.

Qualifications and Skills

An O365 Engineer must have 3 or more years of experience and advanced vendor certification and in-depth knowledge of at least one cloud product. Required certifications are Microsoft MCSE or MCTS, Cloud Platform certifications (346 and 347), Azure Assessments, Security certification(s) as needed, through RSA. Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively. Annual background checks are performed due to the security requirements of our work.
